Volunteer

We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team! 

• Event Support - Help transport, set-up, and tear-down portable exhibits and other educational materials at venues around the region.

• Marketing - Drive public engagement with the museum's exhibitions and classroom programming by generating content for the website, social media platforms, and for physical distribution. 

• Instruction - Lead the public in engaging, hands-on programming that leaves every participant with a great appreciation for the technological and artistic innovators of previous generations. 

Donate

• Monetary - Help the RMCT grow to offer more public events, classes, and exhibitions through a financial contribution. As a 501(c)3 organization, contributions to the RMCT are generally tax-deductable. And you can rest assured that every dollar will directly support the RMCT's mission since we are a volunteer lead and operated organization.

• Collections - While such a generous act is always appreciated, our limited storage space forces us to only accept donations of items that fill gaps in our permanent and rotating exhibits, or which support public programming. For that reason, collectors and enthusiasts who are interested in donating to one of the RMCT's collections should reach out to the Director to discuss the proposed donation. 

• Event Space - Since event space rental is often the largest expense for public programming, hosting an event is one of the best way to encourage the growth of the RMCT's public offerings. Please contact the Director to discuss how you would like to contribute.
